About

My name is Sage Swenson, and I’m a filmmaker with roots in Salt Lake City, Utah living in Honolulu Hawaii with a lifelong connection to movement, storytelling, and the world around us.

I grew up as a dancer, touring the world and experiencing different cultures through rhythm and motion. Along the way, I became addicted to travel — not just the destinations, but the fleeting, powerful moments in between. That passion naturally evolved into a desire to capture those moments and cultures to preserve memories the way I once lived them — not just in my head, but in vivid, moving imagery.

For me, filmmaking is a way to replay a feeling, a sunset, a laugh — and let others feel it, too. Whether I’m chasing waterfalls, hiking ridgelines, or standing at the edge of the ocean, I find grounding in nature, and I try to bring that same grounded perspective into a world driven by technology.

I specialize in adventure and travel cinematography, with one goal: to create honest, cinematic memories that people can revisit for years to come. Whether it’s your story or the story of a place, I want to capture it in a way that makes it feel alive.

Let’s create something worth remembering.
